Under the auspices of the chairman of the Association of entrepreneurs “Damu Business Group” Mr. Syrymbek Tau, volleyball competition “Damu Cup 2024” was held. The competition started on September 10 and continued for almost 3 months. In total, 14 teams, and more than170 employees took part in this event to compete and the winners were awarded.
It should be noted that 2 million tenge, “the grand prix” was won by the team “Signtech”, headed by Mr. Zhalynbek Zhainarbay, the 2nd place and 1 million tenge was won by “Bek Team” of Mr. Taskinbek Abdurushit, the 3rd place and 500k tenge went to united team “Almaty” of Mr. Kerimzhan Uristem and Kurmanbek Sabidolla. In addition, teams of the Premier League competed separately and the team “Avtomoda”, led by Mr. Kumar Zhumahan, who became the champion, was awarded with 200k tenge. In total, 4 players were awarded as the best players of competition, and one team was awarded as the “cohesive team”.
“The purpose of this competition is to promote a healthy lifestyle, to establish unity, strengthen relationships and joint development not only for entrepreneurs, but also among employees,” explained the chairman of the association, Mr. Syrymbek. He said, that there will be many other events like this organized in the future, and thanked all the players and fans who took part in the competition.
